Donna Jean Yates, 70, of Springfield, Mo., passed away November 26, 2020 surrounded by love. She was born July 23, 1950, to Danny and Ruby (Deckard) Garrison in Springfield, Mo. She accepted Jesus as her savior at a young age. Her hobbies included a love of crocheting, reading her bible, listening to old country music, and spending time with her family and friends. Donna was united in marriage with the love of her life, Larry Allen Yates, on March 6, 1970 and from this blessed union two children were born. Donna was loved by many and her laugh was infectious. The world has lost a beautiful soul and she will be missed so very much.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, and her siblings. Donna is survived by her children, Fawntella and Tim Krausz, of St. Louis, MO and Larry and Amy Yates of Springfield, MO; 7 grandchildren, Jacob Krausz, Hannah Krausz, Jesse Krausz, Isiah Yates, Gabriel Yates, Levi Yates, and Olivia Yates who affectionally called her Marmie and adored her. A sister-in-law, Shirley Garrison and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 7, 2020 from 12pm-2pm in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE with interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
