Mrs. Donna J. Reaves, 72 of Strafford, Mo. passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Springfield. Mo.

Donna Jean Reaves was born on Monday, March 31, 1952, in Arkansas to Faye and Curtis Wake. She received her High School diploma later in life through the mail while playing with her grandkids. She had four sisters and four brothers. Donna had four boys of her own and raised several others. Jerry and Donna had been together for over thirty-five years. She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis H. and Faye Wake; husband, Jerry Campbell; sons, Steven R Wake and William Scott Wake; granddaughter, Leah Marie Wake; sister, Annette Mitchel.

Donna is survived by two sons, John Lee Wake and wife Julie and Elmer G. Wake; granddaughter, Julie Ann Wake; grandson, Elmer Bourghsle; three sisters, Josephine, Darlene and Carolyn; four brothers, Curtis, Jeffery, James and Ronnie; step grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Jackson Evans, Jody Ray Jackson and many nieces and nephews.

Donna loved trucking with her husband, Jerry, singing old country songs and collecting dolls, Angels and other little knick-knacks.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2024, in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte; 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave. Springfield, MO. 65804. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Robberson Prairie Cemetery: 3244 W Farm Rd 50, Willard, MO 65781.
