Donald Francis Walker went to be with the Lord June 25, 2020 after suffering a stroke. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Argust "Dale" and Kathleen (Elmore) Walker on April 30, 1943. He graduated from Raytown High School, Raytown, Missouri, in 1961 and attended UMKC. Donald was an accountant and retired from Cox Health Systems Insurance in 2001.

Donald is survived by his wife of nearly twenty three years, Janice (Allman) Walker, two sisters – Betty Goings of Springfield and Barbara (Jim) Winters of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, three sons – Stephen Walker, Sr. of Des Moines, Iowa and William (Maria) Walker of Norwalk, Iowa, Randy (Oksana) Allman Sr.of Stratford, Connecticut, and a daughter Amy Johnson of Springfield, Missouri, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, five nephews and their spouses, several great nephews and great nieces, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother in law, and several aunts and uncles.

He was a devout Christian and a member of Park Crest Baptist Church. Don was greatly loved by so many and will be sorely missed. Due to COVID 19 restrictions and risks, there will be a private graveside services at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gideon Bible Society or your local church. Services are under the direction of Klingner Cope Family Funeral Home.
