Donald L. Schmidt's Obituary
Donald L. Schmidt, 73, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. He was born May 13, 1941, in Goessel, KS to Henry and Rose Schmidt.
Donald always worked in farm equipment sales. He liked to golf, garden, enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Fern; and baby sister, Pearl.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah, of twenty five years; children: Lori (Paul) Harrison, Sandy (Tim) Smith, Dan (Becky) Ferguson, Brad Ferguson; special dog: Chase; grandchildren: Molly, Ben, Max, Natalie, Lillian; sister: Linda Stauffer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 1-2 P.M. at the Klingner-Cope Rivermonte Chapel with services to follow at 2 P.M.
The family has requested memorial donations to be made at the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), PO Box 500, Akron, PA 17501.
