Mr. Donald Eugene Plevka, age 73 of Marshfield, MO peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Donald Eugene Plevka was born on March 25, 1952, in Belleville, Kansas, the beloved child of Edward Henry Plevka and Frances Marie Plevka. After growing up in Cuba, Kansas, he attended Hillcrest High School and later Wichita North High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Church Ministry from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, in 1990.On May 9, 1998, he married Carrissa Ann Mayfield at High Street Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. His career spanned roles in food service, truck driving, and with Life Care Services. He was a beekeeper and loved his farm.He served as a trustee at Temple Baptist Church in Marshfield, Missouri, and as a board member of the Marshfield Senior Center. His dedication left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carrissa Ann Mayfield, and his children, Matthew Dewayne Plevka of Springfield, and Jeremy Edward Plevka and his wife, Cheryl and their four children of South Carolina, Daniel Plevka and  his wife, Branda and their children, Zachary, Gregory, Geffery, Danny, and Nevaeh Plevka, Connor Maggard and Jaylynn Dennis; sisters, Dorothy, Mary, Sue, Teresa and Barbara.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Trisha Louise Plevka; parents, Edward and Frances Plevka.

A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Temple Baptist Church, 431 S. Olive St. Marshfield, MO 65706. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Tim Auten officiating. Burial will be private.
