A Father's Love
It's not goodbye, it's we'll see you later.
I must step away, but you'll be stronger.
Yes, you might fall, but that's okay.
I'll help you up and get you back on your way.
I'll light up your path all through life's challenges.
I'll strengthen your walk and turn you into a challenger.
When you're lost, listen for my words, the tone of my voice; just keep moving forward.
Just grab my hand and hold on tight;
let go when you're ready, you'll be alright.
Whenever you need me, I'm always here.
Just call my name, and I'll be there.
Although you can't see me, just imagine my presence.
I'm always watching over you, staring down from heaven.
