Don B. Tucker, Sr., of Ozark, died Thursday, December 22, 2016. He was born in Wilmington, CA on June 29, 1940, the son of Henry and Carlah Tucker. Don and Barbara were married in 1960 and celebrated 56 years together.

Don loved his family and was very proud of them all. He was the patriarch of his family. His beloved dog, Sophie, remained by his side during the last days of his life.

Don was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering in his garage.He belonged to the Elks Lodge and the Eagles Lodge.

Don is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Debbie (Tyler) Partridge, Donnie (Tricia) Tucker, Jr., Steve(Michele) Tucker and Phillip (Kim) Tucker; many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rebecca Gilbert and Mary Tucker; many nieces and nephews; 2 life- long friends, Don "Rocky" Stone and Richard Wible; and a host of family and friends.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Clariece Smith-Joyner and Ann DeMik; and 2 infant children, Deanna Jean and Robert Dale.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine. Burial will follow at the Rivermonte Cemetery.

Don''s family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00PM on Tuesday, December 27 at the chapel.
