Don Matherly, 73 of Springfield, passed away on June 21, 2016. He was born on December 24, 1942 in Brighton, MO to John and Ruth (Price) Matherly.

He owned a pool hall for many years, loved baseball, card games and to travel.

Don is preceded in death by his father, John Matherly and step-father, William Luttrell. He is survived by his son, Scott Matherly; brother, Mark Luttrell; caretaker and former wife, Linda Matherly; step-daughter, Donna Freeman; 3 grandchildren, Tony, Travis and Rachel all from Springfield.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division) with interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
