Dennis Eldon Lindsay, 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Springfield, MO on June 21st, 2022.  He was born in Springfield, MO on August 11th 1954 to Lula 'Nina' Trotter and Dallas Eldon Lindsay of Springfield. He was a caring father, brother, uncle and friend.


He loved playing golf, riding his Harley and being with his son Derek.  His career was in the construction industry and he worked his way up to being a superintendent for several large companies, getting his start working for O'Reilly's.  He was proud of his travels around the United States managing the construction of pre-engineered metal buildings.  He retired from this in 2020.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Nina Lindsay, and his sister Linda Lindsay Bussard. He is survived by his son Derek Lindsay of the home; two sisters Christina (Michael) Gardner and Karen (Marc) Struble all of Springfield.  He is also survived by two uncles, Gene (Leona) Lindsay and Kenneth (Eva) Lindsay, many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.


Graveside services will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Thursday, June 30th at 10:00am.
