Della P. Drake's Obituary
Della P. Drake, 87, passed away in her home January 29, 2012 after a long illness. She was born August 12, 1924 in Pleasant Hope, Mo to James and Anna Bayes.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, her daughter, Mary Cook and 2 grandsons.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, James Lester Drake, Sr.; 1 daughter, Sue Cummings; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who love and will miss her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 6-8 pm in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE., Springfield, Mo. Graveside services will be Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 1 PM in Brighton Cemetery.
