Delbert L. Hale Sr., 75, of Springfield, was born on March 1, 1940 in Greene County, MO to Elmer and Lillie Hale. He passed away on June 12, 2015.
He married Joyce on May 3, 1963, enjoyed his family, was a former preacher and loved to spend time on his family''s farm.
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marvin, Cecil and Eugene; sister, Velma; special aunt, Hazel Smith, infant brother and infant sister.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Hale; 2 sons, Delbert Hale Jr. and John Hale; daughter, Tammy Johnston; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
