Debra Rand (Dixson) Rand's Obituary
Debra A. Rand, 61, of Ozark, MO passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014. She was born in Des Moines, IA to Don and Bonnie (Kessinger) Dixson on August 16, 1952.
She was married to Don Rand on November 22, 1980. Debra enjoyed reading, traveling, loved the ocean, music, and spending time with family and friends. She was a friend to all she met. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church where she taught Sunday school, other classes and was a prayer intersesour.
Debra is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Don; 2 children Joshua (Malynda) Rand of Eagle River, AK and Jessica (Brandon) Ruble of Nixa, MO; stepdaughter, Sarah (Zaq) Reiff of Imperial Beach, CA; 3 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Linda (Chris) Geelan of Banning, CA, Terri (Ken) Rice of Lawrenceville, GA and Merrie Roy of Alcoa, TN; numerous family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave. Springfield, MO with services to begin at 2 p.m. burial to take place in the Rivermonte Mausoleum.
