David W Pratt - 64 of Springfield, MO passed away May 12th unexpectedly of a cardiac event.

He was born September 11th, 1956 in Springfield, MO to Kenneth and Lillian (Jo) Pratt. He graduated from Central High School.

David married DeAnn Hawkins on October 23, 1976. He has two daughters, LaDonna and Jennifer, and two grandchildren, David and Raven,

David worked as a school bus driver where he was a favorite among the kids. He was an active member of the Teamsters Union 245 and he enjoyed long rides on his motorcycle. He was known for his big size and his gentle and generous nature. David was completely devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren. David's easy going manner won him friends of all ages, who will miss him terribly.

David was proceeded in death by his wife, DeAnn Pratt; mother and his father, Kenneth and Lillian (Jo) Pratt; his brother, Bill Pratt; his brother-in-law Jim Franck and his father-in-law Paul Churchill.

David is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, LaDonna and Eric Marvin and Jennifer and Storm Shannon, and his honorary daughter, Adrienne Poulson. He is also survived by his two grandchildren Raven Shannon and David Marvin, and his two sisters, Jane Franck and Donna Pratt. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a large network of friends who will miss him greatly.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte (4500 S Lone Pine Ave Springfield, MO 65804) with funeral services to be held on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
