David L. Crossland, 78, of Springfield, MO passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014. He was born in Springfield, MO to Harvey and Doshie (Scarbrough) Crossland on June 21, 1935.

His hobbies included his love of fishing, bowling, golfing and playing the harmonica. He was a member of Calvary Christian Assembly of God Church for 20 years. He was a hard worker, great provider, loving father and loved his family dearly.

David is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Crossland of 62 years; children, Juanita McIntosh, David R. Crossland, Diane Elliott, Mark E. Crossland and Tommy L. Crossland; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters and a host of family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held for David on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Christian Assembly of God 9048 W. State Hwy 266 Springfield, MO with burial to take place at a later date in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
