David Colin Eyanson, age 70, was born on March 22, 1946 in Nevada, Iowa to Leo and Winnie (Henry) Eyanson. He passed away at his home on December 2, 2016 with family by his side.

Dave was a United States Marine and served his country during Vietnam. He married Lenda Sue Clayton on April 21, 1979 in Miami, OK. Dave was a truck driver and enjoyed old cars, hunting and horseback riding. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, any and all animals and playing Santa at Christmas.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father.

Dave is survived by his wife; three daughters, Cheri Eyanson of Marionville, MO, Michelle Snyder and her husband Brad of Ash Grove, MO and Jennifer Dixon and her husband Jason of Springfield, MO; one step-son, Ron Whitman of Ash Grove; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous friends and family.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Klingner-Cope at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE (Division). Following cremation, military honors and a private interment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens at a later date and time.
