Darrell W. Raby, 70 of Springfield, passed away on August 7, 2013 in his home with his wife by his side. He was born August 6, 1943 in Willow Springs, MO to DG and Marjorie Mahan Raby.

He was united in marriage to Jann Carroll Raby for 52 years, was saved and baptized in his late twenties and attended Hillcrest High School. He later went to work at an early age for Dayco where he retired after 24 years and he also served with the Union Rubber Works for many years.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jeanette (Sater) Raby.
He is survived by his wife, Jann Raby; son, Gregory Allen Raby and his wife Lisa Stone Raby; granddaughter, Michelle Wheeldon Raby and her husband John; grandsons, Chase Raby and Kyle Raby; great-granddaughters, Emma and Alivia Wheeldon and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Eddie Paulk and his staff for their wonderful care.

Darrell and Jann were members of the Walnut Lawn Church of God for at least 30 years, please make donations to the Church, 554 W. Walnut Lawn, Springfield, MO or to a charity of your choice.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel 5234 W, State Highway EE, Springfield, Missouri. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
