Dan Richard Whitescarver, 80, of Springfield, was born March 16,
1943, in Webb City, MO, and passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023.

He was married June 3, 1962, to the love of his life, Joy Elliott in Webb City, MO. They were inseparable for 61 years.

He was honorably discharged from the Air Force on September 1, 1964. He retired as General Manager of Deskin Scale Co. in Springfield, MO. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was a member of the Ozark Antique Auto Club for many years. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and neighbors. He was
always available when someone needed help.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob & Florine Whitescarver.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joy; son and daughter-in-
law Michael S. and Kathryn; son Todd W.; grandchildren, Kristine, Aaron
(Brooke), Joshua (Kayla), Zander; great grandsons Onyx, Jack; brothers
Bob (Brenda), John (April), sister Judy.

A memorial service will be held at Klingner-Cope Funeral Home at
White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE in Springfield, MO on Friday
November 10, 2023 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
