Dale Allen Taylor, 80, of Springfield, MO passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at his home, surrounded by family. He was born on Tuesday, January 1, 1949 in Kansas City, MO to Ruth McMillen and Floyd Taylor.

Dale served his country in the US Marine corps during Vietnam and worked as a Bus Driver in Kansas City. On April 16, 1977 he married the love of his life Nancy Loree West.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Laura Comer and Wilda Duddy.

He is survived by his wife, his daughter Angela Starr, five nephews Jim, Dan, Charles and Gary Duddy and Wes Comer, one niece Debbie Hathaway and several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 5235 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802. Online condolences can be made at www.klingnerfuneralhome.com
