Clifford Ewell Glenn, 90, of Springfield, MO went to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 14, 2018 with family by his side. He was born on Wednesday, February 15, 1928 in Vichy, MO to Ida Mae Riley and Jesse David Glenn.

Clifford married Lucille R. Higdon in Mississippi on September, 3, 1949 and to this union two daughters were born. He worked for 37 years with BNSF and retired as the Union Representative for the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes Division. Clifford was a member of the Scenic Church of the Nazarene for the last 54 years and loved to do oil paintings, collecting pictures of railroad-steam engines and listening to country classics, especially the Grand Ole Opry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Donna, four brothers Charles, Leonard, Lloyd and James and four sisters Jessie Mae Morris, Louise Funke, Marie Dowling and Norma Gargus.

Clifford is survived by his wife of almost 69 years, his daughter Geneva Glenn of Springfield, MO, one sister Mary "Polly" Bacon, two sister-in-laws Dorothy and Shirley Glenn of Rolla, MO and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802, with services to follow at 2pm.
