Claude E Brooks' Obituary
Claude E. Brooks, 82, of Stover, MO passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014.
He served in the US Navy, retired from Farmland Industries, and was a member of Masonic Liberty Lodge #31, Elks Lodge #2705, The American Legion #624, and the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie, MO.
Claude is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Donna; 3 children Chris Brooks of Ozark, MO, Garry Brooks of Cottage Grove, MN and Penny Shaw and her husband Lee of Bolivar, MO; his sister Freida Cain of Gladstone, MO; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Claude to Select Specialty Hospital 1630 E. Primrose St. Springfield, MO 65804.
Visitation will be held from 11:30-12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte with honor services to be at 1 p.m. in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
