Mrs. Clara B. Sanders, age 96, of Springfield, Missouri. passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Birch Pointe Health and Rehab Center, Springfield, MO.

Clara Belle Sanders was born on Sunday, March 28, 1928, in Springfield, MO. to John Edward and Ruth Ellen (Goforth) McCuller.

She is survived by one daughter, Charlene Hickey; one son, Norman Sanders; seven grandchildren, Tammy Parker, Bobbie Mueting, Lori Mitchell, Aaron, Damion, Logan and Tyler Ann Sanders; nineteen great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews and Trouble (the dog).

Clara is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth McCuller; husband, Norman Sanders; one brother and five sisters.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 13, 2024, in the Klingner Cope Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel: 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave. Springfield, MO. 65804. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 14, 2024, in the Silver Springs Chapel: 1119 N. National Ave, Springfield, MO 65802 with Pastor Ronnie Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Cemetery: 2244 E. Pythian St. Springfield, Mo 65802.
