Cindy Dawn (Bunch) Tolbert was born August 7, 1969 in Houston, Missouri and passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the age of 46. Cindy, a member of Northside Christian Church in Springfield, Missouri, was a devoted mother and wife. Cindy enjoyed sending hand-written notes, giving flowers and encouraging others. She loved and delighted in her extended family, but her greatest joy was her son, Brett, and greatest love, her husband, Terry.
Cindy graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1987 and received a degree in English and Criminal Justice from Drury University. She was a charter member of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Tent No. 22. Cindy and Terry were married for nearly 18 years and enjoyed life in the home they built together on family land near the Fellows Lake area.
Cindy is survived by her son, Brett, and husband, Terry A. Tolbert; her parents, Donnie and Carolyn (Gibbons) Bunch of Mountain Grove, Missouri; and her father- and mother-in-law, Jerry and Norma (Breshears) Tolbert of Strafford, Missouri. Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bretna and Hazel Gibbons and Omer and Zora Bunch.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 16th just prior to the funeral at 2:00 PM. Services and burial will be at Klingner-Cope at Rivermonte in Springfield, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Honor Flight or the Mountain Grove American Legion Post 30.
