Ms. Charlotte C. Prater, 86 of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Cox Health, Springfield, Mo.

Charlotte Claudine Prater was born on Tuesday, September 20, 1938, in Springfield, Mo, to Claude Cecil and Myrel Louise (Williams) Prater. After finishing school, Charlotte went to work for a dental clinic for about a year and the went to work as a Lab technician for Prodent Labs and Edmons Dental Labs for a total of forty plus years.

She enjoyed watching her friends play softball and would always be there to cheer them on. Most of all, she loved dogs and had many of them throughout her life and she cherished them all.

Charlotte is survived by her niece, Karen; great-niece, Jennifer and her son, Dallas; great-nephew, David and wife, Megan and their sons, Ezra and Noah; cousins, Saundra, Barbara and her husband, Jack; close friends, Dorothy, Pat  and Laura and her husband, Guy.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M Monday, November 18, 2024 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5234 W. State Hwy EE. Springfield, MO. 65802.
