Charles R. Steinert Jr. age 66 passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Birch Pointe Rehab Center Springfield, MO.

Charles Ronald Steinert Jr. was born on Monday, April 7, 1958, in Springfield, Mo, to Charlie and Betty Steinert. Even though he was born with many challenges, he took it as it was dealt with and was a joy to be around. He always did the best he could.  He loved the American Flag and any thing red, white and blue. His home and his room proudly displayed it everywhere.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Betty Steinert; one sister, Sue Lipold and nephew, Todd Steinert.

Charles is survived by his sister, Connie Neal of Nixa, MO; brother, Rick Steinert and wife, Bonnie and many nieces, nephew, which all held a special bond with "Uncle Cho Cho."

Charles had a special girlfriend, Patsy and her roommate Diane and many friends at ARC of the Ozarks and DCO.

Charles loved singing and shaking his head with a wonderful smile. Holidays with his family he dearly loved. One of his favorite sayings was "Don't, I always love you." He showed his love so easily.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 22, 2024.  Charles will be laid to rest next to his parents at Payne Cemetery 2192 Owens Rd. Nixa, Mo.

The Family would like to thank all the staff at Birch Pointe, ARC of the Ozarks and DCO for all the love and care of their special "Buddy." He has left a deep impression on everyone's hearts forever!!
