Charles Brandenburg, 83 of Republic, MO was born on February 2, 1929 in Weston, MO to Luther and Stella Brandenburg and he joined the Lord on November 28, 2012

He married Gloria June Mitchell on June 14, 1952 and served in the Navy. He retired from Owens Illinois as a warehouse fork truck driver. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Republic for many years.

Charles is survived by his wife Gloria; daughters, Pam Blades and Christina McDarius; son, Charles Anthony; brother, Hank Sauer of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Louise Schrand of Edwards, MO; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 1:00 till 2:00 pm at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. Funeral services will follow at 2;00 pm in the funeral home. Internment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
