Bill Boyd, 66, of Springfield, MO passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013. He was born in Greenfield, MO on February 27, 1947 to Charles W. Boyd, Sr. and Elizabeth Boucher Boyd.

He was a home builder in Springfield and worked for railroad for 16 years. Bill served in the Army in Vietnam and attended Greenfield High School. He was a past member of the home builders association. His hobbies included fishing, boating, motorcycling riding, playing the slot machines and traveling in his motor coach. Bill was a St Louis Cardinals and Rams fan.

Bill is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter Chelsea Mishelle Mace and his brother Gary Lynn Boyd.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Clara Boyd; son Howard Dale Mace; daughters Tara Renee Blair and Lydia Kay Fellwock; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother Sam Boyd and his wife Kathy and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 Friday, July 12, 2013 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave Springfield, MO with services to follow at 12:00 pm. and burial at 2:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
