IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Chad Frederick
Roza
October 16, 1975 – June 19, 2024
Mr. Chad F. Roza, 48, of Lampe, Mo. Died Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in Lampe.
Chad Frederick Roza was born on Thursday, October 16, 1975, in Omaha, NE. to William and Linda (Dowland) Roza. Chad loved doing things for others and enjoyed meeting new people and was so charismatic it was said "He could sell ice to an Eskimo." He was so caring, he prepared a wonderful 50th birthday party for his father, Bill, and gave his mother a beautiful retirement party. Chad was a great host, kind, polite and funny. He could talk to anyone and make them feel special. Every time he came through the front door, he gave his mom the biggest hug and then would greet everyone in the room, Chad loved taking his mom to the India Clay Oven when they lived in Lincoln, NE. That was their special place and took no one else there but her.
Chad was an incredibly talented Chef. His meals were amazing and could make anything a gourmet meal. He loved to travel and has lived in many places for his occupation. Opening many restaurants and multiple national parks. So, when his mom and dad were homesick for him, mom would try to recreate their favorite dishes Chad had made for them. Chad always gave her the recipe but would always leave out a few ingredients. When mom would call him and say, "The dish is not as good as his," he would say, "Mom, I will make it for you when I get home." Then he spilled the beans on day, "Mom, you forgot this ingredient." She would answer, "But that was not in the recipe." He would laugh, "Mom, I need you to always need me." After that, mom would watch him make the dish.
Chad went to the Grand Canyon to run three restaurants at the age of nineteen. While there he prepared dinners for three U.S. Presidents. George W. H. Bush, George H. Bush and Bill Clinton. Chad joked that is Hillary Clinton would have won the Presidency, he would have cooked for four Presidents. The stories he could tell you about the Secret Service staff always looking over his shoulder watching his every move. He loved the history of wine and waiting on others as much as he loved cooking. Mom and dad would go to his restaurants across the country just to watch him shine. Muhammad Ali drew a picture on a napkin and gave it to him.
Chad enjoyed fishing with his father, Grandma and Grandpa Roza in Minnesota, Hunting, Nebraska Cornhusker Football, and giving his mom a hard time for loving the Dallas Cowboys.
About a year ago, Chad met the love of his life, Amber Anderson. He called her his Queen. He treated her like a Queen. His love and commitment to her and her six children was wonderful to watch as they grew closer to one another. They were to be married in September 2024.
