Cecil Ivan Williams, 90, of Rogersville, MO went to be with Jesus on Friday, January 7, 2022. He was born on Monday, May 11, 1931 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Anna May Blackford and Roy Ivan Williams.

Cecil attended Nichols Elementary and Pipkin Middle School where he played guitar in the Rainbow Band. He was united in marriage to Emma Louise Tindle on June 3, 1950 in Springfield, MO. Cecil was a member of Faith Assembly of God were he worked as a Missionary for several causes. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, fishing, camping, hunting, traveling and junking. Cecil was a very hard worker, including but not limited to the Frisco Railroad, Horton Excavating, Leggett and Platt and Rayco Reynolds Steel. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. Cecil will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, one son Timothy Williams, one daughter Judy Skockley, two brothers Bill and Jimmy Williams and two sisters Mary King and Anna Marie James.

Cecil is survived by his five sons Mike Williams, Randy Williams (wife Jeanette), Danny Williams (wife Joy), Richard Williams and Larry Williams, one son-in-law Virgil Shockley, two sister-in-laws Gail and Gene Williams, 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family that will love and miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with funeral services to follow at 2 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Faith Assembly of God, 3001 W. Division St., Springfield, MO 65802.
