She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Ron Griffin.

Cathy is survived by her daughters, Kelly Pearman and Katie Vines; grandsons Kolten and Kamden; brother, Jim Brakebill (Carol); sisters, Donna Sue Rash (Robert) and Barbara Griffin; as well as many other relatives and close friends.

She was a member of Campbell Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bolivar.

According to Cathy's wishes, she will be cremated. A graveside service will be held at New Bethel Cemetery in Halfway Saturday, October 15 at 10:00 am. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the American Legion Post 138, 1424 W. Broadway in Bolivar from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Legion.
