Catherine Jean Walters, 83, of Rogersville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 9, 2016, after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born in Bismarck, MO on December 21, 1932 to Eugene and Ruth (Davis) Cockman.

Catherine was a loving wife, wonderful mother to her children, and adored her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband William, her parents, and her sister Mary. She is survived by daughters: Dale Borenstein and husband Arnold, Linda Settles and husband Angelo, and Tammy Strickland, Grandchildren: LaDonna, Audrey, Eliot, Riley, and Collin, great-granddaughter: Winnie, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Rivermonte Chapel. In lieu of flowers, family would like donations to be made to the Alzheimer''s Association.
