Catherine R. Morris, beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 86. She was born on December 11, 1935 in Hollywood, Missouri, to Hubert and Opal Farmer.

Catherine was gentle in spirit and devoted to her family. She dearly enjoyed spending time with her great- grandchildren, Paxton and Ari. She had a natural talent for cooking amazing food and would quietly welcome the kind compliments. Her calming presence and soft smile were reassuring and she was someone you would always want to be by your side. She was beautiful, constant, thoughtful, and inspiring. Catherine had a kind heart and was pleasant and mindful to all.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Jim D. Morris and her parents, Hubert and Opal Farmer. She is survived by her sisters Della Sue and Vivian, and her brothers, Paul, Joe, and Jerry. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Debbie, Pam, and Stephanie, her grandson Brandon and wife Kelsey, and her great-grandchildren, Paxton and Ari.

A private graveside service will be held for the family at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
