Catherine M. Lacy, 88 passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 in The Gardens Assisted Living Facility. She was the youngest and last surviving child of Alvin and Abbie Coleman''s nine children.

Catherine is survived by her husband John E. Lacy, children and their spouses, Priscilla Phillips and Ron, John Lacy and Linda, and Rebecca Geimer and Mike; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO 65804. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.

Family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made in Catherine''s name to her favorite charity, Disabled American Veterans, 1708 E. St. Louis St., Springfield, MO 65802.
