Bruce Branstine, age 59, passed away June 20, 2014.

On this earth we are given just one life to live and the impact of our lives resounds well after we are gone. Bruce''s life was not a small cymbal, barely audible for those to hear rather it was a gong that resonated across all those he came in contact with. Whether it was his infectious smile that lit up any room that he walked into, his tenor voice that captured the very essence of his faith, or his quiet strength was the rock of his family, Bruce was always someone that everyone could befriend and could count on when he was needed.

And while those are things that most who knew him will remember him by, his family will remember him most of all for the love he had for each of them. He will be remembered for the loving looks that he gave his wife, the special moments he shared with his children, and the joy he shared with his grandchildren. These moments, though now gone and removed from this earth, are the memories that those who loved him will keep long after the sorrows and pains are grow.

Though we mourn for Bruce today, we rejoice with him forever that he has left this mortal plain and has been given an immortal covering that will never weaken, will never grow old, and will always rejoice in the greatest love of his life, his Savior. While we on earth long for the day that we see our Savior face to face, Bruce now sings with those who have gone before him in a heavenly choir fit for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

We will love and miss you.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield. Service will be Friday, June 27, 2014 at 10:00 am, at Nixa Church of Nazarene, 306 Northview Rd., Nixa, MO. Interment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
