Bobby Leslie Jenkins, age 84, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri surrounded by his loved ones.

Bobby was born on Sunday, October 20, 1940, to Hesley and Esther Jenkins in Clarksville, Tennessee. Bobby was united in marriage to Jimma Jenkins on January 18, 1974. They were married for forty-eight years until her passing on January 20, 2022. Bobby had eight children, Wayne, Belinda, Robert, Eric, Fayrene, Hesley, Rosene and Marlene who also blessed him with grandkids, Anthony, Kimberly, Daniel, Katrina, Elizabeth, Matthew, Devin, Hesley Jr., Dereck, Timothy, Hayley, J.R., Erin and great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Owen, Rosalee, Cooper, Ella and soon to arrive a new baby boy.

Bob enjoyed his last years being retired and sipping his coffee. He loved spending time with his family, cracking jokes and watching the KC Chiefs. Bob's favorite hobbies included fishing, spending time outdoors, playing dominos and racing cars in his younger years. His favorite food was a good ole BBQ.

He is survived by his children, Belinda, Eric, Fayrene and husband, Gary, Hesley and wife, Mary, Rosene and husband, Donald, Marlene and husband, John; grandkids and great grandkids; one brother, Dale and wife Lorita.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Hesley and Esther Jenkins; wife, Jimma Jenkins; two sons, Wayne and Robert Jenkins; one sister, Shirley and one brother, Donnie.

A Celebration of Bobby's life will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Klingner-Cope Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE. Springfield, MO 65802.
