Blanche V. Crim, 89 of Springfield went home to the Lord on Tuesday, January 31st at St. John''s Hospital. She was born on January 1, 1923 in Rock Creek, Ohio to Gilbert and Rozada McCune.
When God created the definition of the virtuous women of Proverbs 31-he was describing the type of person Blanche, Mom, and Grandma was. "Her children arise and call her blessedmany women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
She will be greatly missed by her family and the void her death creates will not be filled for many years to come.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn J. Crim, daughter Vicki R. Crim, granddaughter Talisa M.Crim and grandson, Jehoshuah Salviano.
She is survived by her children, Joann Salviano, James E. Crim, Carol M. Whitlatch, Richard A Crim, Glenna J. Flokstra, and Charles Daniel Crim; 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, February 3, 2012 at twelve noon in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Midtown, 1635 N. Benton. Interment will be in the National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
