Billy Dean "Bill" Setliff, 79, of Springfield, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2017. He was born Sept. 17, 1937, the son of Claude and Elizabeth Setliff. Bill and Norma Lee Lindsay were married Dec. 3, 1956. Norma preceded Bill in death on March 8, 2010.

Bill was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a hard worker all his life, which included 3 years of active duty as a Peace Time Veteran in the U.S. Army and 50 years as a professional meat cutter.

Bill spent his free time enjoying his family, traveling, fishing and hunting.

Bill is survived by 3 sons, Billy (Bonnie), Danny (Silvia) and Timmy Setliff; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 brothers and sisters.

In addition to his wife, Norma, Bill was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 12:00, Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at Klingner-Cope Funeral Home at White Chapel. Burial will follow at White Chapel MemorialGardens.

Bill''s family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 12:00PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude''s Children''s Hospital.
