Bill E. Hall passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011. He was born January 25, 1934 in Tahlequah, OK to Edward and Mary Hall, who preceded him in death.
Bill served eight years in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Glenstone Baptist Church in Springfield.
Most of Bill''s career was spent in security work and he retired in 1998 from the Greene County Sheriff''s Department. Bill enjoyed meeting people and considered his acquaintances as his "friends".
He is survived by his wife Dora Martin Hall, his children; Bill Hall, Jr., Dennis Hall, Stephen Hall and wife Heather; daughters, Debbie Hardie and husband Dave, Pam Cranford; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; step-children, Trudy Annin and husband Steve, Gary Martin and wife Tonya, Lori Persky and husband Bill; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield with interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1 p.m.
Family has requested memorial donations be made in Bill''s name to the Glenstone Baptist Church Benevolence Fund or a charity of your choice.
