William Harold Foster, Jr., 98, of Springfield, MO passed away at his home on Sunday, June 27, 2021. He was born on Friday, December 15, 1922 in Alliance, NE to Roszella K. Charron and William H. Foster, Sr.

Bill served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Jarchow-Schroeder Post 61 in Kansas City, MO. He loved fishing, bowling, duck hunting, traveling, Golf and western movies. Bill retired from the Colgate-Palmolive Co. as an Electrician.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son William H. Foster III and one sister Maxine Foster.

Bill is survived by his wife Jacquelyn of Springfield, MO, one daughter Toni Cracraft of North Kansas City, MO, two step-children Mark Tindall and Vicky Baker (husband Bobby) of Reeds Spring, MO, one sister Marceline Collins of Kansas City, MO, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, July 2, 2021 at the Klingner-Cope family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with graveside services and full military honors to follow at 11 AM on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
