Beverly Lee Beiswinger, age 93 of Halfway, Missouri passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026 in Columbia, Missouri.

She was born on Saturday, December 31, 1932 to George and Edith Weigle. She graduated from Southwest High School in 1951. She attended Miss Hickey’s Secretarial School. Beverly married Gilbert, her husband, of 67 years on May 2, 1953. She worked as a secretary until her son was born and chose to be a homemaker.

Beverly and Gil raised their children in St. Louis, Missouri and then purchased a farm in Halfway, Missouri in 1981. Her family was the most important thing to her. She enjoyed cooking, decorating for holidays and caring for her family and dachshunds.

Beverly Lee Beiswinger is survived by a son and his wife, Jeff and Vonciel Beiswinger; a daughter, Janet Simmons; her grandchildren, Steven Beiswinger, Matthew Beiswinger, April Leonard and her husband, Ryan, Colton Simmons and his wife, Tess and Hayden Simmons and his wife, Emily; five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Gage, Beau, Dawson and Lainey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Beiswinger; her parents, George and Edith Weigle; a father-in-law, Linus Beiswinger; mother-in-law, Mary Beiswinger; son-in-law, Kevin Simmons, and a sister, Barbara Mueller.

A visitation and graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Internment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Klinger-Cope Cemeteries at White Chapel.
