Obituary

Beulah Mae Denney Erwin, aka "Granny Boo" was born May 21, 1922, passing away on June 6, 2012. On May 1, 1937 she wed Eugene Erwin. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1985. They were blessed with two sons, James Wayne (Jim) Erwin of Springfield, Mo and Duane Bradley (Sonny) of Independence, MO, who preceded her in death in Oct. 2009. Beulah was also preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Ruth Denney, her brother Leonard and his daughter Lynn, and one nephew Billie Erwin.
She is survived by her eldest son Jim, his wife Donna and their four children, Andy, Cathy, Scott and Daniel, their seven grandchildren, Gregg, Cainan, Aubrey, Skyler Richardson, Conner, Ashelle, Allison and one great grandson, Aidyn; the widow of her youngest son, Duane (Sonny) Linda and their four children, Angela, April, Levi and Judy and their three grandchildren, Adam, Emily and Benjamin and one great grandson Brock. Beulah is also survived by the family of her brother Leonard in Neah Bay, WA and one niece Janice and David Bennett.
Beulah was saved when she was 12 years old and attended the Nazarene Church for many years. On January 1, 1995 she was baptized into Immanuel Baptist. She loved her Bethany Sunday School class and the Keenagers group.
Her sons and their families, along with her many friends were the LIGHT OF HER LIFE. She asks to be remembered as a loving, caring person who always looked on the bright side of everything.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 8th from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home, 1635 N. Benton. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3506 N. National.
