IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Betty Jean
Hamlin
December 28, 1934 – October 26, 2021
This October 26, Betty Jean Hamlin was welcomed into Heaven with open arms. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she took her final breath. Betty was predeceased by her husband Lee Hamlin Jr. She is survived by her daughter Nina Schmidt, son-in-law Robert Schmidt, 3 grandkids, Kent Schmidt, Charity Randolph, and Misty Olivera along with 10 great grandkids. The sun rose when the world welcomed Betty on December 28th, 1934, a day the world became a little brighter. Betty lived a full life, filled with joy and loved by her whole family and all who knew her. Her daughter Nina meant everything to her and they were the best of friends. She loved her dogs and in particular Molly, planting flowers, working in their produce market, studying the Bible, and also fashion where her grandkids carried on that tradition. She loved Jesus and lived her life for him. She continued to witness even while in the nursing home. One of her favorite things of all involved her grandkids, Kent, Charity, and Misty where she experienced her greatest joy and they did as well. She will be missed by many as her love ran deep. There will be private services with family in attendance at Rivermonte Garden Memorial, Springfield, Missouri this November 2 at 2 pm.
