Betty Young (Erwin) Young's Obituary
Betty Lou Young was born on April 12, 1928 in Walnut Grove, MO to Erva Lee (Kinslow) and Claud Ansen Erwin. She passed away on September 9, 2015.
She married Asa L. Young on February 7, 1948 spending 65 years together before he passed in 2013. She loved to sew, travel, the St. Louis Cardinals and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Battlefield.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Boyd Carr and brother, Ray Erwin. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Nora Etta Erwin of Walnut Grove; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
A service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO with visitation to be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
