Betty (Hopper) Anderson, age 84, passed away at home December 24, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born March 4, 1938 in Sanger, CA to George and Rena (Hedrick) Hopper. Betty grew up in Reeds Spring and Hap grew up in Ponce De Leon. Betty married Dennis "Hap" Anderson September 6, 1956. To this union there are three children Cindy Slurarski, husband Andy, Jennifer Knight, husband Michael, and Dennis Anderson, wife Tricia; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Betty was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for many years and a member of Highland Springs Golf Course. Betty was an avid golfer.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents George and Rena Hopper; and her two sisters and a brother.

The family extends a special thanks to her two wonderful care givers Irma Fluekiger and Laura Schwein and Intrepid Hospice.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer's association.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home in the chapel at Rivermonte, Springfield. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the chapel. A graveside committal service will follow at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, Springfield.
