Bethany Mastilak passed away in Nixa, MO on July 2, 2024 at the age of 41 at her home with several loved ones by her side.

Bethany was born in March 1983 to parents Jennie and David Cary. She was the youngest of three sisters. She grew up in Indiana and Wisconsin before settling into the Springfield area. Bethany and Matthew were married on July 2, 2011, and had a blessed 13 years married, helping raise 3 wonderful children. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, daughter, niece and friend. Her energy was infectious, and many people were drawn to her by her big heart and bright spirit. While we mourn the loss of her life here, we know that she's moved on to be with her Heavenly Father where we will all eventually be with her again.

Bethany is survived by her husband (Matthew), three children (Savannah, Scarlett, and Jackson), her father (David Cary), sisters (Monique Gillming and Rebecca Kelly), aunts (Sharon Mizialko, Ruth Bosley, Marie Lynch, Diane Chambers, and Judy Cary), uncles (David Powell and Philip Powell), and several loved cousins, nieces and nephews. It would be remiss to not also specifically acknowledge her cousin Jennifer Gonzalez and best friend Priscilla Salas as they were especially close to Bethany.

Preceded in death by her mother (Jennie Cary) and grandparents (Ross and Gloria Powell and Harry and Maxine Cary).

Funeral service will be held  on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 am in the All Saints Anglican Church, with a reception held after the service and burial at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens in Springfield, MO.

Thank you to several of those able to assist our family during this difficult time. We truly appreciate the humble generosity that was shown. We appreciate Cox Hospice for helping to keep Bethany comfortable during her final days.
