Benny Alton Jones' Obituary
Benny A. Jones, 93, died February 25, 2017 at the Maples Nursing Home in Springfield. He leaves behind his loving wife of 73 years, Mahala (Maples) Jones; son, Ben R. "Bob" Jones and wife, Linda of Texas; grandson, Chris Jones and wife Shannon of Texas; grandson, Landon Jones (deceased); 4 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. He also leaves behind many family members and close friends.
Born in Pratt, Arkansas he was a lifelong resident of Springfield and served in the Army during WW2.
He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Springfield.
A graveside service was held February 27 at White Chapel Cemetery
