Beatrice Fay Buis, 67 of Springfield, was born on October 14, 1946 to John and Pearl Pendergrass. She passed away on April 30, 2014.

She retired from French''s and enjoyed spending time doing craft projects and gardening. She was an excellent cook, loved to spoil her grandkids and above all else she valued her family and spending time with them.

Beatrice is survived by her son, Michael Buis and wife Angela; daughter, Cassie Buis; grandsons, Gabe and Keegan Buis; brother Tommy; sisters, Violet, Virginia and Dorothy and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gene, Albert, Billy, Loren and Joe; sisters, Bonnie, Nancy, Nadine, Stella, Mildred and Judy.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens under the direction of Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO.
