Barbara Melissa Johnson, 81, of Fair Grove, MO passed peacefully in her sleep at 6:12 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2023.  She was born on Friday, December 5, 1941 in Springfield, MO, where she was raised by Pearl King and Bert Saltkill.

Barbara enjoyed her life as a mother, wife and homemaker. She was one of ten siblings and the youngest of the bunch. Barbara will always be loved and remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first and second husband Murray Brown and Robert Harold Johnson.

Barbara is survived by her five children, eight grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802 with funeral services to follow at 10 AM. Memorial donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, 3161 W.
