Our beloved, Barbara Fay (Brust) Hicks went home to be with the Lord at 84 years of age. At the time of her passing, she was living in Willard, Missouri and passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.

At the age of three, the family (then a family of four) moved to California where she attended public school in South Gate, California. After many years of working various jobs and raising her family, she went back to school and received her diploma to be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She was married 62 years to her beloved husband, "Bob" until his passing on January 29, 2022.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Trudy Louise Mefford (husband-Curtis) and Sherry Lynn Caldera (husband-Jorge); 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition, she leaves behind a countless number of in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many, many friends.
