Barbara A. Calhoun, 72 passed away June 30, 2015 in Springfield, MO. She was born October 12, 1942 in Sedalia, MO
From 1960 - 1978, Barbara was employed in the banking business. She loved her family, neighbors and especially her beloved pets Ashley and Abby.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bill Calhoun; sisters, Sandy Thomas of Springfield, MO and Vicky Jo Sanders of Houston, TX and her beloved dogs Ashley and Abby. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 6, 2015 from 1-2 pm in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Graveside services are to follow at 3 PM at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
The family requests donations be sent to CARE Animal Rescue, 1328 A W. Sunshine, Springfield, MO
