Barbara Gray-Johnson 77, of Springfield, MO passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. She was born on April 29, 1939 in Ferry, Michigan to Claude and Emma (Powers) Brittain.

Barbara loved her children, grandchildren, and husband. She was a dedicated Christian, a member of Broadway Baptist Church, and spent her life caring for others as a registered nurse.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karen Gray; sister, Velma Brittain; and brother, Bob Brittain.

Survivors include, her husband Glen Johnson; three children, Rodney Gray (Ina), Wesley Gray, and Tera Wolff (Kenneth); four grandchildren, Samantha Gray-Neumann (Kim), Erik Gray, Isaac Liescheidt, and Abigail Liescheidt; brothers, Charles Brittain, and Jerry Brittain (Jean), sister, Juanita Lutz (John), and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 2-3pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte (4500 S. Lone Pine Springfield, MO) with a service to follow at 3pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Barbara to the Alzheimer''s Association-Greater MO Chapter (3645 South Ave Springfield, MO 65807).
